Why It’s Important To Know Your Strengths And Weaknesses ?

Knowing my own strengths and weaknesses gives me a better understanding of myself and how i function. Understanding my strengths keeps my ahead in a lot of things and Knowing my weaknesses gives me a clearer understanding of things that may be holding me back, and i can then work around finding ways to not let my weaknesses pull you behind.

Strengths

- Passion. It is a well known fact that artists are passionate people and any artist who wants to be recognized for their work must put their whole mind to their art. I'm very passion about the abstract art and line art, coming up with the idea of mixing these both art type made me have a strong passion towards working on it.

- Creativity, obviously, creativity is a strength of every artists. Thinking outside the box.

I was stuck doing portraits and struggle doing abstract as a background, but I realized that when I start working, ideas and creativity comes while I'm working even without doing sketches.

Weaknesses

- Moody, It is very common for artists to have intense mood fluctuations, if not full on mood disorders. Artists are sensitive by nature and can be prone to dramatic shifts in mood without any warning. This is the main thing that might pull me back from producing more and more art works. When it comes to my studies and treat myself harshly to put more effort and start working when I'm not in the mood.

- Disorganized Space, you should know that artists tend to have very messy personal space and this is my second main problem for me as well because when I start doing artworks and painting in a messy place I start losing the sense of creativity and have a bad mixed feelings that will affect and appear in my work which no one want or love that.

- Under Pressure, I usually lack the time to put real effort into my artwork and it is so hard to change it. I feel challenging when I put myself under pressure and I know I will produce paintings, assignment and etc better when the deadline is close. Others might see it as a weakness point so am I but this is how it works for me.

Influences

- My personal influences come from my surroundings, present and past experiences, and my favorite artists.

Sometime I get an idea from out of nowhere and work on it to see the results, the feelings and the meaning of the artwork will depend on the audience and how they feel towards it.
