Why It’s Important To Know Your Strengths And Weaknesses ?

Knowing my own strengths and weaknesses gives me a better understanding of myself and how i function. Understanding my strengths keeps my ahead in a lot of things and Knowing my weaknesses gives me a clearer understanding of things that may be holding me back, and i can then work around finding ways to not let my weaknesses pull you behind.

Strengths

Desire to grow, I think all artists have a deep desire to grow and an understanding that there isn’t ever really a ‘finish line’ when it comes to art. I can feel it every time that what I'm working on is not enough and what I knowledge is not enough too, not because I know nothing but because I would like to learn more, I believe that the more I learn the more I grow and my art world grows with me. Art world is infinite and becoming better in my process will ultimately lead to the completion of goals.

- Flexible, flexibility is one of the most important point in strenghs that all artists need to understand more about, flexibility will lead to the ability to make new and interesting work. I have to always be developing my voice and my style, when I read more about on how to be flexible when it comes to art I found myself doing it day by day.

- Self-Critical, the habit of self-criticism, I am almost incapable of looking at something I did more than six months ago without fixating on all the ways it could be improved.

Weaknesses

- Perfectionism, Perfectionism is one of those traits that people often try to disguise as a strength and I was and still somehow one of them ! I used to spend a lot of time and days to work on a perfect artwork and leave it uncompleted because it caused me a lot of harm to my growth as an artist and trying to get rid of this idea.

- introvert, as an introvert person lately I realized that introverts are thinkers. I like to collect my thoughts, and i definitely think before i act. This point of weakness effect a lot of my journey to my way in the future as an artist, good at small talk specially in private but cant do this in public even though a have the full confidence in my artworks. communication with those people who would like to buy my work can be difficult at times. My introverted nature prevents me from networking.

Influences

- Nature, As a nature lover I tried to use earthy colors for some of my artworks.

Art involving nature can be done simply to display the beauty of the natural world around us and our own connection to nature and beyond as a human being because humans are a type of living organism.
