In this task I have worked with a group, we have done a proposal about the living species that are about to go extinct if we do not act fast to save our planet and make our climate response better by searching for a solution. The exhibition target audience are children 11 years old with their families as we offered entertainment activities for both children and their families such as visual art, Playground ( for example recycled plastic zigzag bench ), Coloring and painting area, catering area and magic show + presented our artworks, some of it are sketches and illustration,
. As we are students in the university of Sunderland we have decided to choose Sunderland museum and winter garden as a location, decided a budget for everything that we need to present it in this exhibition . it is an open festival and the tickets are free so that we get more audience and everyone is welcomed. The exhibition will be presented in the art gallery in 2nd floor, one more option is provided is to show our artwork in the garden if the weather condition is stable enough to hang them outdoor. Sunderland Museum and winter gardens has recently been awarded a grant as part of The Arts Council Collection National Partners Programme which will help us to allow for new insights into avoided environmental issues and produces innovative solutions for the animal extinction and the climate change and to help us share our ideas and reach out for more audience by doing artwork about this project.
The opening time of the museum is perfect starts from 10:00 AM to 17:00 PM.
Here are my artworks that will be presented in this festival :
